Story Notes

Zagan can make people witty, make fools wise, and can turn a lot of things into wine (including water and blood. Also he can turn oil into water, so by extension, oil into wine). He can also create coins out of metal. Overall, he sounds like one of the best demons to bring to a party. Except…

He’s one of a huge number of demons who can be invoked in a love spell, though a nasty, powerful one: a spell of compulsion that forces the target to experience an inextinguishable passion (Bellanger).
