Being a brief timeline of events in the Berbiguier cinematic universe
1765: Alexis-Vincent-Charles Berbiguier born, Carpentras, France
1789: M.B. leaves Carpentras to move to Avignon to pursue a job as director of the lottery. (note: he also claims to have moved to Avignon in 1796)
1791 (?) “My persecutions begin.” M.B. meets the fortune-teller Mansotte, who soon captures M.B. in her spell.
1792 (?) After three years of torments, M.B. experiences a vision of Jesus Christ on his throne, and asks for his aid in his torments. M.B. pledges to find the strength to live to spread the word of god.
1809: M.B. consults with Guerin concerning his sufferings, which attributes to Lavalette and Mansotte. (v3ch72)
1812: M.B. moves to Paris and takes up residence at the Mazarin hotel (in a letter dated 10/1818 M.B. says he lived there for six years.)
1813: During his uncle’s trial, M.B. writes a letter to the Parisian government, helping resolve 1816: M.B becomes a patient of French physician Philippe Pinel
December 1815: Legal issues regarding M.B.’s estate are resolved. (v1ch24)
8/24/1816: M.B. meets with Pinel, discussing his torments at the hands of Moreau and Vandeval. M.B. decides Pinel is in league with the goblins. (v1ch25)
8/30/1816?: Shortly after meeting with Pinel, M.B. purchases a two-month-old squirrel, Coco. (v1ch26)
10/24/1817: Etienne Prieur begins tormenting M.B, according to a letter
12/12/1817: Etienne writes a letter to the powers of darkness, asking that M.B. be released from them. He references Coco’s injured tail. M.B. confirms that Coco was injured toward the end of 1817.

1818: M.B. begins writing Les farfadets
2/1/1818: Etienne Prieur moves out of the Mazarine Hotel
2/24/1818: M.B.’s snuffbox stolen by goblins (v3ch72)
5/18/1818: Letter to Abbot Bascou complaining that Baptiste, Lomini, and Etienne are no longer communicating with M.B.
5/19/1818: M.B. exchanges letters with Etienne Prieur at the Seminary of Amiens
7/10/1818: M.B. orders a candle from the Saint-Roch factory in honor of his uncle.
7/18/1818: Etienne Prieur leaves the Seminary of Amiens without explanation. He has still not returned in November.
7/25/1818: One of a series of letters to Chaix concerning M.B.’s treatment in the care of Pinel and Moreau. (v3ch72)
9/3/1818: Letter to Baptiste Prieur outlining the satanic conspiracy and demonology surrounding Lomini, Vandeval, Moreau, Pinel, and Etienne. (v3ch72)
9/1/1818: M.B. may have acquired and read the Dictionairre Infernal in September 1818. In a series of letters to Etiene (9/3/18) and later Moreau (he suddenly begins name-dropping and heavily referencing the DI demonic hierarchy after August 1818. This is speculation.
